Vintage Cycling  Stories is a website about the history of road cycling races. It’s the very heart and soul of the original PelotonTales project.

But PelotonTales is not only about the stories from the past but also the legends and myth of the present (and future).

So, if you’d like to follow the preparations for the next Tour de France even during the upcoming autumn and winter months, please, take a look at the

What we know about the Tour de France 2025

special project.

The official route presentation will be held at  the end of October this year, but as usual, we already know a few little infos about the first three stages. The race will start in Lille, visit Bolougne-sur-Mer and Dunkirk.

But there are always rumors and speculations before the route presentation, you might take a glimpse on those too.

Also there are post about some frequently asked questions (a kind of a Tour de France for dummies content), like Do riders ride every day in Tour de France?  or Can you ride the Tour de France without a team?
